Privacy policy

A plain-language description of the information QuoteCortex handles in the current product boundary.

Current product disclosureLast updated September 4, 2026

Scope and roles

This policy describes the QuoteCortex application and public request forms. A moving company may provide its own customer-facing wording, identity, and support route. The controller/processor roles, contracting entity, and jurisdiction-specific obligations are not stated here.

This page does not state that a specific privacy law applies or does not apply. Applicable rights depend on the people, company, location, and processing context involved.

Information handled

Depending on the workflow, the application can handle:

  • Account, organization, team-role, and authentication data.
  • Moving-company business data, branding, support details, CRM configuration, and catalog mappings.
  • Moving-customer contact and move details, including origin, destination, move date, and access notes.
  • Walkthrough video, captured audio where present in the media, evidence frames, room and inventory data, packing notes, exceptions, edits, and approvals.
  • Device, browser, security, audit, job, delivery, and provider-operation metadata needed to run and protect the service.
  • Billing identifiers only when a guarded billing workflow is enabled.

Purposes

  • Provide private survey links, resumable upload, inventory review, customer approval, and report/export workflows.
  • Configure tenant branding, CRM mapping, pricing ownership, and operator review.
  • Protect accounts, enforce tenant and capability boundaries, prevent abuse, and maintain audit evidence.
  • Operate feature-enabled email, SMS, AI, billing, and worker paths only when their separate gates and evidence are complete.
  • Respond to structured requests and support questions.

Disclosures and providers

Information is disclosed to the moving company that requested the survey and to providers used by a configured product path. The current registry distinguishes active, conditionally enabled, planned, and not-configured providers.

See Subprocessors for the data-driven registry and Security for the application boundary.

Retention and deletion

The current application supports explicit media deletion jobs and tenant-scoped records. It does not publish a fixed default video period, promise immediate provider-side erasure, or treat backup expiry as runtime deletion. See Data retention.

Choices and requests

Use Privacy choices to submit an access, correction, deletion, restriction/objection, opt-out, authorized-agent, or appeal request. Requests are routed for operator review; an unauthenticated request does not automatically delete or disclose data.

Children and sensitive material

The survey is designed for a moving customer and not for children. Customers should avoid recording people who have not agreed and avoid IDs, financial papers, passwords, medical documents, and unrelated sensitive material. This page does not state a minimum age or make a jurisdiction-specific children's-privacy determination.

Updates and contact

The public site shows a new last-updated date when this document changes. Use the structured contact route for questions.

This page describes the current product boundary. It is not a signed agreement, legal advice, or a certification. Questions and privacy requests can use the structured contact route.
